4th – 6th – Pacific Northwest Historics: Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Porsche. Held by The Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts (SOVREN), the 20th Annual Pacific Northwest Historics at Pacific Raceways, Inc. (PRI). The meeting location will be at the Gig Harbor McDonalds off the Olympic Drive Exit of RT16 on Sunday July 6th at 8A.  Everyone can sign insurance waivers and sign-in sheets before departing.  For more info...

5th – PNWR Packwood Autocross! This may be a once-in-a-lifetime event! The Pacific Northwest Region has invited us to a special autocross in Packwood, WA. The site is on one of Hampton Mills lots. They are a large lumber company operating south of Mt. Rainier. There are 3 acres of indoor parking/pit area and 15 acres of beautiful blacktop. The landscape is breathtaking and the local community is very enthusiastic and supportive. The autocross will take place on Saturday July 5. This will be an all day event, hopefully with a dinner/social/awards party in the evening. PNWR Autocross Rules/Classification will be used. 19th – USS JOHN C. STENNIS Tour! This event will include several different car clubs, including Corvettes, Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, and Mustangs. Our club will tentatively meet at the Family Pancake House on Kitsap Way for breakfast at 9:00A. If you can not join us for breakfast, please meet us at the Pass and ID parking lot at 11:15A. You will find this parking lot near the Charleston gate; when coming from Gorst, the lot is in front of the first mothballed aircraft carrier that you will drive by. Please be on time! Stragglers may not be granted base access. We will enter Naval Base Kitsap - Bremerton as a group and get staged for pictures beside the USS John C. Stennis, CVN-74 at noon. We will then move the cars to a nearby parking lot and return to the carrier for tours. We can then give sailors rides in our cars. Because of liability issues, we can not allow sailors to drive the cars. There will be lots of walking and stairs during the tour, so please wear sensible shoes and ladies will want to wear slacks. USS Stennis merchandise will be available for purchase on the pier, so please bring cash. Times are subject to change!  More details to follow. Advertising Chair: Works with local businesses to obtain advertising for our bi-monthly newsletter and makes sure the payment is provided to the Treasurer. Obtains and provides graphic ready ads to the newsletter editor and information to the Webmaster for links to each advertiser's website.
